Products

At Art by Koppelmann, we sell:

  • Fine art giclée prints in both open and limited editions, either as posters (unframed) or on glass (unframed). Prints are based on Laura Koppelmann’s original photography but produced by an external print studio.
  • Ceramic pieces, all handmade and crafted as one of a kind or in some cases as small batches. Each product will have its own shape and character. In the smaller batches, minor variations in size and glaze may occur, and that’s part of the charm. All ceramics are made by Laura Koppelmann.

Custom ceramic orders can be arranged individually. You can request a custom order for personalised cups and ceramic box. Prints are not available for custom orders with the exception of open edition prints, which can be ordered in custom size and on custom material in the extend that is available for us.

Prices and Payment

All prices are listed in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT but exclude shipping, which is added at checkout.

Payment is made at the time of ordering via the webshop and is handled securely through Stripe. You will receive an order confirmation and receipt by email.

Available payment methods:

  • MobilePay (soon available)

Custom Orders and Invoicing

For custom ceramic orders, price, delivery time, and terms are agreed individually by email or phone. Once we agree on the terms, you’ll receive an invoice via Dinero, sent to your email. Payment is made by bank transfer to the account number listed on the invoice. Production begins once payment is registered.

Production and Delivery

Production Time:

The production time for custom ceramic orders depends on the scope and will be estimated when the order is agreed upon.

Delivery Time:

Ceramics and limited edition prints purchased from the webshop are shipped directly from Art by Koppelmann – or can be picked up by appointment at the studio (Hovedgaden 38B, 3460 Birkerød). Delivery time for pottery: 3-7 business days. Delivery for limited edition prints: 10 -15 business days.

Open edition prints are shipped directly from the printing service (xprint.dk) to the customer and cannot be picked up in person. Estimated delivery time: 6–12 business days (depending on product and destination).

Shipping:

All parcels are sent via GLS to a parcel shop.

We currently only deliver within Denmark.

Shipping and Risk

Items are shipped with GLS to a parcel shop. When you receive your package, it’s important to check the condition of the packaging. If it’s visibly damaged, do not sign for it – instead, the delivery person must take it back. Then contact us immediately.

Risk transfers to you as the buyer upon receipt of the package.

Right of Withdrawal

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal, counted from the day you receive your item. If you wish to cancel your purchase, send us an email and return the item in its original condition and packaging.

Return shipping is at your own expense. Once we’ve received and inspected the item to ensure it meets the conditions, we’ll refund your payment via bank transfer.

If the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, qualities, or function – for example, if protective film is missing or there are signs of use – we reserve the right to deduct any loss in value from the refund.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom ceramic orders.

Complaints

Under Danish consumer law, you have a 24-month warranty on all products. This means you can complain about defects or faults that appear within this period – as long as they are not caused by misuse, accidents, or improper handling.

If you experience a defect or damage, contact us as soon as possible at art@laurakoppelmann.com with a description of the issue and relevant photos showing the item and packaging. You must complain within a reasonable time after discovering the fault. Complaints made within two months are always considered timely.

If the complaint is valid, we’ll naturally cover reasonable shipping costs for the return. Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement, a price reduction, or a full refund.

The item must be returned in proper packaging and with proof of shipping. We do not accept parcels sent cash on delivery or to parcel shops.

Privacy Policy

Your information is treated confidentially and only shared with necessary partners for order processing (e.g., WooCommerce, Stripe, MobilePay, xprint.dk, GLS, and Omnisend for newsletters). We do not sell your data and store it securely in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Disclaimer

We reserve the right for any typographical errors, sold-out items, slight color variations between what you see on screen and the final print, as well as technical errors on the webshop.

We make every effort to ensure all information is correct and up to date, but if an error occurs – e.g., in pricing, stock status, or product description – we reserve the right to correct it and cancel the order if necessary.

Colors may appear differently depending on screen settings and lighting. We cannot guarantee that the printed image will exactly match what you see on your screen.
